To all parents of Grade 10 and 11 students.....

On Tuesday, April 30th, 2019, high school students from across Simcoe County will be attending the South Georgian Bay Youth Career Expo at the Blue Mountain Conference Center.
This is an opportunity for students to meet with professionals from a wide range of industry sectors and obtain valuable information regarding various careers. They will also have an opportunity to attend seminars on the following topics:
Talking Post-Secondary
Talking Trades
OSAP
Building Your Own Brand
Be Your Own Boss
Careers in the Military
Mindfulness/Stress Management
Job Interview Skills - Practice Session
Walking Tours of Blue Mountain
Take your backstory and turn it into your future undertaking
Students in Grades 10 and 11 from Jean Vanier will be participating and permission forms were sent home earlier this week. Busing is provided and there is no cost for the field trip. Student can bring a lunch or purchase one at the conference center. Please sign and have your child return the form by APRIL 25, 2019.
